Sick World

This world is sick.

What ever happened to morals, values, and respect?
Are we not supposed to be "civilized" in this day and age?
Yes, the city is now an urban jungle, but do we need to include our vicious instincts into this modern jungle?
We all have these violent instincts hidden in our bodies but they are dormant, unused, unneeded.
Why must we harm others?
Everyday and every moment someone is harmed whether they have done something to deserve it or not.
I know not every victim can be saved.
However, we can avoid creating victims.
Abduction, rape, murder, abuse.
The violent heart beat of the world.
My body runs wild with anger at the world and at myself.
Disgust runs through my veins as another child is abducted, another mother abused, and another father murdered.
I am disappointed with myself for not having the ability to save anyone and most of all for being related to all these crimes.
I am human.
Abductors, rapists, murderers, and abusers are human.
We are all the same.
The only difference is that the above named have put their violent abilities into use.
All I can do is sit and watch the world knowing that these abominable events are taking place.
Why? Why?
Will all this ever end?
